As a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant, Dogs 180 started training dogs in 2007.
To make sure that you receive the most effective and up-to-date training, we offer several training services within our training programs to address you and your dog’s specific needs and challenges.
Our approach is to teach owners how to communicate with their dog and use the tools needed for a balanced relationship by shaping and encouraging behavior through focus, routine, and enrichment.
Private Training Lessons provide personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to your dog’s unique needs and personality. These sessions are designed to fit your schedule and goals, ensuring your dog thrives while strengthening the bond you share.
Training Camp is a home away from home training program. Designed for owners looking for effective results while still being involved with the training or dogs that need a little extra help outside of their daily routine.
During their stay, your pup will receive consistent training in a home environment with real world situations.
Available Monday through Friday, this training program is suitable for all dogs.
Our Day Training program is designed for owners looking for effective training but don’t need the extra help that the Training Camp provides.
Consistent training in a home environment with real world situations.
Group classes are a great way to have fun with your dog, test their training, and expand the creativity of canine enrichment all in a safe and controlled environment. We work heavily on your dog’s ability to maintain obedience and control around other dogs, people, and new environments. All dogs who would like to participate in Group Classes will have to first complete Puppy Foundations or Fundamental Training.

Start Traning!
The first few months of a puppy’s life is a critical period for socializing and training. They are rapidly growing and are highly receptive to new experiences and learning. Whether you choose Personal Training, Day Train, or Training Camp, Dogs 180 will teach your puppy house manners, age appropriate obedience, and socializing to give them the structure they need to understand what is expected of them. Puppy Foundations is a positive approach to teaching the foundation skills that will set you up for success and train your pup to become your well behaved, fun, canine companion. This is reward based training that uses positive reinforcement, games, and activities that will prepare your puppy for the real world as a confident and well-adjusted adult without the use of an E-Collar!
If you have an adolescent, adult, or rescue dog, our Fundamental to Advanced Training services is for you! Fundamentals start with teaching the foundations of commands, house manners, and how to behave in public, while gradually challenging your dogs understanding of these tasks by adding distance, duration, and bigger distractions to their training while focusing on your main goals.
Advanced Training is offered to dogs who have successfully completed Fundamental Training and are ready for the next level of off leash command while under your control.
Behavior modification differs from obedience training (complying to a command), because it addresses the undesirable reactions that your dog has towards a specific stimulant. Unwanted behaviors include but not limited to: aggression, leash reactivity, anxiety, fear, excessive barking or attention seeking, resource guarding, and hyperactivity. The causes of these behaviors could be: environmental, genetics, trauma, lack of or poor training and socializing, medical issues, and improper use of training tools and techniques.
