Our training programs are designed around your specific goals and challenges—whether you’re starting with a new puppy, working on everyday manners, or dealing with more difficult behavior.
Most importantly, we teach you how to communicate clearly with your dog and build better behavior through structure, consistency, focus, and enrichment—so the progress you make carries into everyday life.
Private Training Lessons provide personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to your dog’s unique needs and personality. These sessions are designed to fit your schedule and goals, ensuring your dog thrives while strengthening the bond you share.
Training Camp is a home away from home training program. Designed for owners looking for effective results while still being involved with the training or dogs that need a little extra help outside of their daily routine.
During their stay, your pup will receive consistent training in a home environment with real world situations.
Available Monday through Friday, this training program is suitable for all dogs.
Our Day Training program is designed for owners looking for effective training but don’t need the extra help that the Training Camp provides.
Consistent training in a home environment with real world situations.
Group classes are a great way to have fun with your dog, test their training, and expand the creativity of canine enrichment all in a safe and controlled environment. We work heavily on your dog’s ability to maintain obedience and control around other dogs, people, and new environments. All dogs who would like to participate in Group Classes will have to first complete Puppy Foundations or Fundamental Training.

The first few months of a puppy’s life are a critical time for learning, socialization, and building good habits. Whether you choose Private Lessons, Day Training, or Training Camp, Dogs 180 will help your puppy develop age-appropriate obedience, household manners, confidence, and social skills.
Puppy Foundations uses reward-based training, games, and real-world activities to build the skills your puppy needs to become a well-mannered, confident companion. This program focuses on creating a strong foundation without the use of an e-collar.
From everyday manners to more advanced obedience, Dogs 180 helps you build reliable skills that work in real life—not just in the training room.
Fundamental training focuses on core behaviors such as leash manners, recall, impulse control, place, greetings, and household behavior. Advanced training builds on that foundation with greater distance, duration, distraction, and off-leash reliability when appropriate.
The goal is clear communication, dependable behavior, and a dog that can handle more of everyday life with confidence and consistency.
Behavior modification focuses on changing unwanted emotional or behavioral responses rather than simply teaching obedience commands. This may include leash reactivity, fear, excessive barking, resource guarding, overarousal, anxiety-related behavior, or aggression concerns.
Because behavior problems can have many contributing factors—including environment, learning history, genetics, socialization, and sometimes medical issues—we look at the whole picture before recommending a training approach. When appropriate, we may also recommend involving your veterinarian or another qualified professional as part of the plan.
Dogs 180 is proud to offer two AKC programs available to dogs of all breeds.
1) AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program is designed to help you and your puppy build a strong foundation for a successful training journey. Puppies must first complete our Puppy Foundations course and be between 3 and 12 months old.
2) AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
The AKC Canine Good Citizen program recognizes responsible ownership and sets a standard for well-mannered dogs both at home and in public. Dogs must complete our Fundamental Training course before enrolling. The program is open to dogs of all ages, although we encourage puppies 6 months and younger to begin with the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program.
